Waldron's Long Weekend
Waldron's Long Weekend
Acrylic on Panel
16x16x1.5"
2025
It's been a little bit since Waldron and his makeshift pals have made the time to get together, and what better excuse to hang with your buddies than a long weekend! Our sweet-natured little earthworm friend even got everyone matching hats to celebrate the occasion!
Waldron's Long Weekend has a playful palette of greens, blues, pink, purple and yellow. While this piece is cute and silly at first glance, there can be a surprising amount of emotional depth upon reflection. This portrait is the second piece featuring Waldron and his friends; the first piece, titled Waldron's Birthday Party, can be viewed here if you're curious about his origin! I'd like to think this portrait is a little happier than his last.
Waldron's Long Weekend is 16 times larger than his previous piece, making this new painting for Waldron bigger than ever and a real statement for your walls, sure to get some fun conversation flowing!
