If you take a closer look, you’ll see our darling Northern Pygmy Owl has teeny tiny feathers delicately painted all throughout his portrait. It was so satisfying painting each individual fiber of every feather. Your eyes can take a little break from laser focusing on those details as we move on to his flatly rendered sweater vest and painterly sneakers. By the time you reach Stan’s background you’re met with solid sunbeam orange to playfully intermingle with the blue, green and yellow on his accessories!
