Stanley got his first pair of sneakers but has yet to learn how to tie his shoes; now the lil fella is wondering if you can lend a hand (wing, fin, or paw) to the cause. (Somebody please help him! 😩)
 
If you take a closer look, you’ll see our darling Northern Pygmy Owl has teeny tiny feathers delicately painted all throughout his portrait. It was so satisfying painting each individual fiber of every feather. Your eyes can take a little break from laser focusing on those details as we move on to his flatly rendered sweater vest and painterly sneakers. By the time you reach Stan’s background you’re met with solid sunbeam orange to playfully intermingle with the blue, green and yellow on his accessories! These colors also carry over to the sides of his wooden panel to help Stanley’s portrait really pop off the wall!
