Boo is a little fox lovingly named after my childhood self. While most One Lane Studios pieces touch upon my own personal childhood nostalgia, Boo is the first of her kind to pull from a childhood photo directly. I often tease that all of my animal portraits are subtle self-portraits, but this is the closest we've come to directly doing so!
Boo's portrait has been over a year in the making, and it shows in every thoughtfully placed hair, reflection in each bead, and so many subtle details throughout. The consideration for this portrait carries on to the sides in complimenting colors along the canvas edge. Details like this give you the freedom to skip buying a canvas frame and go straight to displaying your new artwork on the wall! Original artwork is sold "as is". Changes or customizations will not be considered unless otherwise listed. Any damage to the painting after it has left the studio is not the artist's responsibilty (though repairs can be discussed for an appropriate fee). All sales are final.
While the purchaser of the original piece owns the physical work itself, the artist maintains the right to the visual and intellectual property of the work and can sell prints and items with images of the artwork indefinitely, as well as the intellectual property of the story behind the work. The purchaser of the painting does not have the right to make or sell replications of the work, or to profit off of the work in any form other than resale of the original painting.
